The Flourish Program
The Flourish Program is designed to meet the unique needs of anyone providing high outputs of care for other living beings; human or animal. Caring for other beings requires we experience aspects of their pain as we intersect with the injustice(s) that harmed them and share in their grief. Those shared experiences create trauma states within us that left unattended will reduce the resiliency of our compassion, overwhelm our nervous system, and erode the overall health with which we entered the caring relationship(s). The Flourish Program provides relief to those caregivers already experiencing distress. The Flourish Program also equips caregivers with a plan to establish and sustain wellbeing while caregiving.

Mine
Identifying What We Control and What We Influence.
Understanding what is within our power to control assures that we can use the power we actually have to increase safety, promote balance, and enhance relational resiliency. Identifying what we influence sparks our responsibility to those and that which is around us.
Lovingkindness
Directing Our Compassion Toward Ourselves Without Neglecting Anyone.
As we continue to develop our compassion it is essential that we assess the level of alignment our internal and external compassion actually have. When our inner dialog is driven by self compassion our external displays of compassion become far more robust and effective.
Swallow
Infusing Compassion Into Our Relationship with Food.
Building a friendship with our food is essential for our bodies to receive what food has to offer without fear or stress. Research is beginning to reveal that what we eat is not as important as how we eat. Recapture to joy of eating, let your senses once again come alive with aroma, texture and color of the food we eat.
Tender
Making Amends to Our Bodies, Our Emotional Worlds, and Our Spiritual Selves.
We tend to treat ourselves more harshly than we would ever even consider treating another person. Making amends is a powerful relational restoration tool but rarely do we consider making amends to ourself. Heal emotional, physical and spiritual wounds inflicted by self on self using the same restoration we use with others.
Accept
Discovering Our Beliefs Without Judgment.
Often we hold the beliefs of others, beliefs that were thrust upon us. Those beliefs can harm us as they frequently came to us through the judgment of another. Belong
Exploring Expression of Our Authentic Selves in Safety.
Throughout our lives we learn to twist and distort ourselves to fit in with those whose approval holds high value for us. Learning to belong includes acceptance of self without judgment; discerning the difference between fitting in and belonging; and practicing creating environments of belonging for others.
Retreat
Developing an Intentional Plan for Sustaining Wellbeing.
Our wellbeing requires that we nurture and care for ourselves with intention and compassion.
